Collaborative Psychotherapy is the private practice of Carl Schneider and Marcia Weiss, a husband-and-wife team who provide therapy for:

They also consult with businesses and organizations to promote health, well-being, and productivity in the workplace.

Both therapists are Senior Members of the Cambridge Psychotherapy Institute (CPI) and faculty at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, where they often teach a popular course called "Dating: Beyond the Myths".

In addition to private psychotherapy practice, they also lead seminars and workshops, provide consultations and psychological evaluations, and engage in supervision of junior therapists.

Carl Schneider

Carl Schneider has conducted a dual practice of psychotherapy and career counseling for over 25 years. He has experience in diverse settings, including start-up director for a commercial career counseling firm, and counselor and consultant in a wide range of outpatient clinics. He holds a Masters of Education in Counselor Education from Suffolk University (Boston), studied counseling and psychotherapy at the graduate level at Hunter College (New York), and received training from Richard German, a luminary in the outplacement field.

Marcia Weiss

Marcia Weiss has been in private practice since 1981. Areas of special interest include: anxiety and depression, anger and assertiveness, relationships, body image and eating issues, parent education, creativity, and artist career development. She is known for bringing innovation and creativity to the therapeutic process. She is a graduate of Hampshire College and holds a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University.
